Fact About Visitors

This page will help you to find out about the detail information before going Indonesia, especially East Java. The information you will get including :

VISA

One of means to get into Indonesia is Visa. But for many countries, a visa is not necessary for entry and stay up to 60 days. The countries are as follows : Argentine, Autralia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Morocco, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philiphines, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tailand, UK, USA, Venezuela and Yugoslavia.

If you are from one of these countries, a 60-day tourist pass (which is a stamp in your passport) will be issued on arrival as long as you enter and exit through recognised entry ports. Officially you must have a ticket out of the country when you arrive and the other information you shoulh have to know is that you cannot extend your visa beyond 60 days but if you are really to explore Indonesia or East Java in depth, then you have to exit country and re-enter. Make sure to check out your passport expiry date also.

DOCUMENTS

A passport is essential and if yours is within a few months of expiration, you should get the new one. Many countries will not issue a visa if your passport has less than six months of validity remaining. Also, be sure it has plenty of space for visas and entry exit stamps.

Losing a passport is very bad news. Gettin a new one means a trip to your embassy
